About ML Jallow
I’m Momodou Lamin Jallow — ML to most people. I run City Tax Filing, an independent tax and bookkeeping practice in Ottawa, and Finance Snapshot, a personal-finance education project where I share what I’m learning as an investor, including a real-money $250 account I grow in public.
I started doing taxes in 2025 and served about 100 clients in my first season. I’m a CRA-registered representative (EFILE and RepID), with a background in Business Administration Management. My work has grown by word of mouth: people come back because I explain things plainly, keep their documents organized, and treat their deadlines like my own.
Alongside tax work, I help visitors prepare the documents behind a strong visitor-visa application — researched programs and schools, complete travel blueprints, and statements of purpose that say clearly why they’re coming to Canada.
